"Hola soy Tatiana Hernández jugadora de rugby en Colombia, en este verano de 2014 fui de vacaciones a philadelphia para visitar a mi papá, fue mi primer vez en Estados Unidos, mi estadio duro desde el 1 de julio hasta el 30 de agosto. Mi pasión por el rugby me llevo a buscar un equipo donde entrenar y pudiera jugar, y creo que encontré más que eso, encontré amigas, amabilidad y felicidad, me encontré con un equipo que me abrió las puertas de su club, que me brindo la oportunidad de cumplir mi sueño de jugar al menos un partido en el exterior, les confieso que mi inglés es malo, que no hable mucho porque no tuve las herramientas, pero eso a ellas no le importó, el lenguaje no fue una barrera para que me otorgarán el puesto de scrum half en el torneo que jugamos, o para que me llevarán a sus fiestas, fui muy feliz cuando las escuchaba a ellas decir "muy bien", "gracias", "cerveza" y otras palabras en español, o cuando intentaban hablarme en mi idioma. Con ellas solo entrene un mes, y quede tan llena de momentos y emociones que no me imagino si viviera allá como sería, es que aún me sorprendo por tanta amabilidad, en varias ocasiones que mi papá no me pudo llevar me recogieron en mi casa que quedaba a media hora de la cancha, yo le doy gracias a Dios porque me encontré con un equipo que tiene todos los valores del rugby y que esta llenó de personas asombrosas, gracias a todas,gracias a los entrenadores y gracias al presidente del equipo masculino, gracias a él llegue al equipo.
Para terminar diré que si estas buscando un equipo donde entrenar rugby o algún deporte que te de felicidad, este es el mejor equipo, ellas siempre están dispuestas a aprender a mejorar y ayudar.

"Hi, I'm Tatiana Hernández, and I'm a rugby player from Colombia. In the summer of 2014, I went on a vacation to Philadelphia to visit my dad. It was my first time in the United States and I stayed from July 1st to August 30th. My passion for rugby led me to find a team where I could train and play, and I think that I found more than that. I found friends, kindness and happiness. I found a team that opened the doors of their club and provided me an opportunity to fulfill my dream of playing at least one game on the outside. I confess that my English is bad and do not talk much because I did not have the tools, but that did not matter to them. Language was not a barrier for me. They awarded me the position of scrum half to play in the tournament and took me to their parties. I was very happy when I listened to them say "great", "thank you", "beer" and other words in Spanish, trying to speak in my language. I trained with them for only one month and I remain full of moments and emotions that I can not imagine what it would be like if I did not live there. I am still amazed by such kindness. On several occasions my dad could not take me and they picked me up from my house that was half an hour from the field. I thank God that I found a team that has all of the values of rugby and is filled with amazing people. Thanks to all, thanks to the coaches and thanks to the men's team president, thanks to the team.
In closing, I will say that if you are looking for a team where they play rugby and have happiness, this is the best team. They are always willing to learn, improve and help.
